Peppermint tea benefits have long been widely acknowledged as its great taste. It is the mixture of tea and peppermint. We also call it mint tea.

What does peppermint tea contain?

It contains menthol as its active ingredient. It is said menthol help ease colic diarrhea and headaches in babies. Peppermint also contains potassium, calcium and B vitamins.

What are the peppermint tea benefits?


Peppermint tea has been believed to has following benefits:
1. Ease irritable bowel syndrome
2. Ease nausea
3. Ease vomiting
4. Ease diarrhea
5. Ease headaches
6. Ease colic
7. Control mild asthma
8. Manage stress
9. Relax muscle
10. Lower esophageal sphincter

I didn’t find some evidences for the above benefits. However, they are widely acknowledged in many countries. In some countries, the above peppermint tea benefits are listed on their labels. So I conclude that evidences existed, but I didn’t find them.
